A rather so-so story originally written for Writer's Craft in grade 12... Standard Sci-fi fare...
A terribly rushed steampunk science fiction story. Made for yet another short story contest, this time the Queen's Journal Short Story Contest. I probably should have fleshed out the scenes a lot more. Stupid word limits... Though to be honest, in retrospect it wasn't going to win regardless.
